Of Other Thoughts and Pacific Spaces

Our Talanoa series comes out of our Marsden Project (2019-2023), 'Vā Moana: space and relationality in Pacific thought and identity'.

Vā Moana would like to invite you to a Vā Kōrero with our own taʻitaʻi fono, Lealiʻifano Albert L. Refiti, and our colleague and friend, Julian Hooper.

Over four fortnightly sessions, this reading group series will explore concepts of reification, totality, class consciousness, mystification, consciousness raising, and deployment.
