Vā Kōrero: Logo ī Pūlotu

For our September Vā Kōrero, we invited guests to listen and respond to the experimental sonic project we have been working on, ‘Logo ī Pūlotu’. We were hosted by Te Wai Ngutu Kākā gallery, whose name was recently gifted by Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei. The players meditated on the wall pattern referencing the ngutu kākā flower, a tohu of turning seasons. They responded to Albert Wendt’s poem, ‘Inside Us the Dead’. Fa'afetai tele lava to our hosts, our players, and our guests.
