News: Albert Refiti named Associate Professor – Spatial Design

In late October, Auckland University of Technology promoted Vā Moana / Pacific Spaces Principal Researcher Leali‘ifano Albert Refiti to Associate Professor. The university recognised his leadership of research into Pacific spatial and architectural environments, evident in his extensive research and publication history in the area, and supported by his teaching and lecturing in the last 15 years.

His leadership of Vā Moana / Pacific Spaces over the last six years also played an important role in this promotion, which will in turn advance the cluster’s research even further. We congratulate Albert on this well-earned accomplishment.
